2021 Canterbury Bowhunters Champs - Followup - Canterbury Archers' Society Inc

Hi everyone,

The Canterbury Champs are all over again for another year! Two beautiful days weather-wise, with a few Archers feeling a bit under-the-weather after an evening of stories and banter.

The Hunter round today was a challenging one, and did level some of the playing field. Congratulations to all Archers who persevered and were successful in getting a place in their particular bow divisions. A special mention to some of our young Cubs and juniors who certainly showed up some of the senior shooters over the weekend, and shows some of the talent that is coming through the ranks.

A massive thank you to Steph for the mammoth effort in organising all the catering for the lunch time BBQs and making the food for Saturday nights dinner. You once again did an outstanding job. Also Gordon, Chris and Lee for all your organisational efforts. We couldn't do it without you.

To the generosity of one of our senior members who donated a special Black widow bow to raffle off - thank you so much for that and I'm sure the winner of that amazing bow will treasure it and shoot it with pleasure.

And of course as always a big thanks to you, our competitors who make these such enjoyable events and hopefully we'll see you all again soon at the South Westland club for their club Championship.
